16th sixteenth century stackfreed pocket watch case circa 1580sixteenth century (circa 1580) fire gilded brass case retaining excellent definition on the engraving inside and out. closes nicely. lacking the stem for the bow. 58mm diameter 30mm deep

A very fine example of repousse work which is extraordinary in its execution

its a great system that works flawlessly

In good all round condition

some minor dents and bruising on outer case

the outer case finely pierced and chased

closes nicely

I believe the bow stem is also original
