This rope floats Doesn't rot Won't shrink when wet One issue with polypropylene to consider is that UV light slowly breaks down the fibers of the rope. Over time, if left outside, this rope will take on a rough and fuzzy appearance. This is perfectly normal, but makes the rope pretty scratchy.
