Signatory Vintage | Mortlach Distillery 12 Years 2008 - Cask Strength CollectionA non typical Mortlach from Signatory Vintage, specially selected by and bottle for us here at The Whisky Exchange. It was distilled on 13 March 2008 and bottled on 24 November 2020 after 12 years maturing in a first fill bourbon cask. Less meaty and weight than many whiskies from the distillery, this dram combines a buttery texture with fruit, vanilla and herbs. A moreish and tasty take on Mortlach. Tasting Notes Sweet and fruity, pear with vanilla,

thick oak with developing aridity

This particular expression spent its life maturing in an ex-bourbon cask
